Pricing questions
- Who pays, and when?
- The commissioner pays once for the whole roster, before the first real score is entered. Setting up the trip, adding rounds and courses, inviting players, configuring side games and even running a simulated round are all free, so the whole group can see the product before anyone pays.
- Is it a subscription?
- No. Each trip is a one-time purchase. There is nothing to cancel and no card on file afterwards.
- What counts as a player for the 4-player free limit?
- Everyone on the trip roster. A trip of 4 or fewer players is free with every feature. A trip of more than 4 players costs $5 per player on the roster at the time you pay. Adding a player after paying does not re-charge the trip.
- How do I pay?
- By card through Stripe's hosted checkout. Captain's Pick never sees your card details. If you have a promo code, enter it on the unlock screen instead.
- What about groups of 30 or more?
- A cap for very large groups is still being decided. Contact us before your trip and we will sort it out.
- What is the refund policy?
- Trip purchases are final and non-refundable. Everything except real score entry is free to try first, so you see exactly what you are paying for. If a payment itself went wrong, contact us through the help center.
