How do I invite players to my trip?
Last updated
Open the Players tab and copy the group join link. Drop it in the group chat. Everyone who opens it signs in with an email code, picks their spot on the roster (or adds themselves), and they are in.
What is the difference between the two kinds of link?
- Group join link. One link for everyone. It lists the open roster spots; each person claims theirs. If the roster is not locked, a new name can add themselves.
- Per-player invite. Next to each roster name there is a personal link that joins the recipient straight in as that player. Use it for the one guy who keeps claiming the wrong spot, and for co-commissioners (below).
What do players see?
The same trip you see, from their seat: the overview with live standings, the rounds, their tee group and score sheet, side games and the money ledger. Commissioner-only things (settings, roster edits, unlocking) are hidden from them. Someone who signs in with the trip link but is not on the roster sees it read-only as a spectator.
How do I stop people adding themselves?
Turn on Lock roster on the Players tab. The group link then only lets people claim spots you have already created; personal invites still work.
How do I add a co-commissioner?
On the Players tab, under Who runs this trip, mark a roster spot to become a commissioner when it is claimed, then send that person their personal invite link. The group link never grants admin, so the wrong person can't pick it up. A trip can have several commissioners; the creator can't be removed.
